Marriage not registered how can I get divorce

Dear sir I was married 2 years ago. I am continuously in argument and fights with my husband and it has reached to the level I am feeling as if I may harm myself or him due to my mental condition. Please guide me on how to file a divorce. Also my husband never got our marriage registered legally. Kindly help me as I am feeling completely helpless. I don't want any alimony but just a peaceful divorce from him.

You can get a divorce on the ground of cruelties under Hindu marraige act.if u had registered ur marraige u had to file the divorce under special marraige act....to file divorce u just need a marraige photograph or a marraige card
