Sir, I have got married two yrs ago , since then there has been a lot of mental tortures I am going through. I want to apply for divorce. Wanted to knw,.. should I apply for divorce in the same town Wer I got married?

If your facing mental torture and your decided to dive divorce, you can file where you are residing, not only your home town, consult more for procedure for filing divorce suit and get relief. You can also seeks maintenance etc., Consult and get advise.

Jurisdiction to apply for divorce
1. hometown
2. Place where last resided together
3. Place where ur currently residing
In all these cases u have to furnish valid address proof like Voter Id, Aadhar, driving licence, passport, bank account statement etc

Dear sir/Madam
Divorce petition can file in the city where you got married and also you can file where you both couple last residing city. But you have to submit your address proof like Election ID, DL, Adhar card etc
