Hi,
In any divorce proceeding lawyer is not required at all. It is only the parties who choose to have a lawyer. All the more in a mutual consent divorce if the parties choose to have a lawyer, then 1 lawyer is sufficient .

in mutual divorce parties must be present and you can keep one lawyer for both of you. the power of attorney the court has accept, if you want to go to abroad from their you can present by skypee before court and you can give your consent for divorce.

Technically one is sufficient.
However, there needs to be two separate power of attorney holders to avoid conflict of interest and future litigation. In the mutual consent both the parties are joint petitioners and one lawyer is sufficient.
