I need to know more details from you. In this case it's a good idea to file a contested divorce along with a private complaint for 498A to make these people realise their sins. Please contact me with more details.

Have you already filed for mutual divorce?
You can definitely claim for stridhan as it is your property as per Indian Law.
Although marriage expenses are not a part of your property and cannot be claimed.
Further as you are not financially dependent on anyone, your case for claiming maintenance, if you do so, will be a weak case.
If you have already filed a petition for divorce by mutual consent, you have to amend the plaint and ask the Court to pass an interim order of return of stridhan.
If you have not filed a petition of divorce by mutual consent, you should add this prayer in the petition and add this clause in the agreement.
