Hello Mrs. Singh,
As i can understand the situation, it has been a long period of 20 years but is there any any kind of physical abuse by your husband till date? If yes you can lodge an FIR to the nearest Police Station detailing therein every thing.
Alternatively you can file a petition under section 125 Cr.P.C for the maintaining you and for your kids only if they are minor son or for a daughter who is yet not married or is minor.
There are other alternate legal remedies as well if you need any further advise in the matter feel free to contact.
