I want divorce but my wife not ready 15 months of marriage

12-Jun-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I have been married for past 15 months. We had lots of bad fights and arguments immediately after marriage, but I kept on going with a hope that everything will fall in place. Now, I neither love my wife, nor I get sexually attracted to her, and honestly speaking I don't want to live a loveless life. I discussed this thing with my wife, and tried convincing her for mutual divorce. But she is not agreeing to my view, and threatens me that she will commit suicide because of societal pressure. Is there any way that I can divorce her? We are both Hindu and 29 yrs old.

As you are facing marital issues and if your wife is not supporting you in obtaining the divorce under mutual divorce, you can file the divorce under cruelty ground. once you file the petition court will issue notice and she has to appear in court.

Dear Client,
It is too early to come to a decision. Wait and give rethinking don`t be hasty. Matters will resolve soon. Courts will help you to unite. Don`t go for divorce in a fit of temper. You have much journey to travel. Take the assistance of legal experts, psychologists and other well wishers to live together not for separation.

Hi
It appears that the marriage is broken beyond repair. You should file a case of divorce without being afraid of threats made out by your wife.
Once you file the case of divorce, you are not responsible in any which ways for the acts done by your wife subsequent to receipt of summons by her.
