Where did you file a complaint against your in-laws? What happened after the complaint? Is the complaint still pending? What is the present relationship between you and your husband? Does he want to really live with you or does he want to take revenge against you? If your husband really loves you and wants to live with you, then you can go & live with him in the upstairs. We need to discuss this in detail to know whether your husband is really serious to live with you or if he will do any harm to you once you go & live with him. Kindly discuss with me for more accurate advice.

you need only divorce or any demands from your in-laws first, they demanded dowry that is prohibited by 498a IPC punishable by law then if you want reunion your demands have to be accepted by your husband, first step of divorce is legal divorce notice has to be sent them that all enjoy your life
