Husband wants separation just after marriage

I got married on 4/3/16(arranged).We met on 24/1/16 for the first time & after 2 meetings,the guy said yes.Everyone was happy & finalised the day after a month,although I was scared cause everything was happening too fast.Still we met around 5 times before marriage and everything was good b/w us.On 9/3/16,while we were at our honeymoon the guy said he is not comfortable with me & asked me to help him out to end this marriage.I was shattered,still our parents gave us a month time so that we can try & make it work but it didn't happen.Please let me know how can I fight and what are my rights?

He may file a Petition for Divorce on some grounds but you simply say you will not give divorce and stay at his place. If he further harass you then you can file a case under Domestic Violence and Dowry harassment case is also an option. If he forces you to go out of matrimonial home then you can file a petition for maintenance for yourself. These are all some of the legal remedies but in the mean time you try to convince him and have a open discussion with him. Try to find out whats his real problems and why he is avoiding you. Then you proceed accordingly.

Why your husband do not want to continue with the marriage. He can't run away like this. You can file case for maintenance for yourself, can also file restitution of conjugal rights petition in case your husband do not want to keep you with himself, can file petition under domestic violence act as well.

No one can divorce his wife within one year of marriage. You have ample rights to fight against him. You need not to worry, you only stay clam and compose. You must remain in your matrimonial home. If he files a case against you for divorce than you can proceed and if you also don't want to live with him , you can file a case for dowry , harassment, maintenance and more it will teach him a lesson. Think properly and revert me. Best of luck.

You got all the rights but before that u have to decide what u want and what is ur preferences. Wheather u wanted through love or u want force to get ur rights. plz call for brief. U have both remedies before u please decide urself

U May File petition For Annulment Of Marriage On Non Consummation Of Marriage By Mutual Consent Before The Expiry Of One Year Of Marriage.In this Case petition For Mutual Consent Will Be Filed In Family Courts Upon Which joint Statement Will Be Recorded & decree Will Be Passed.
