Husband submitted false education and job info at the time of marriage

Huisband has furnished false information about his education and job at the time of marriage. I have proofs that it was false. What action can i take legally on him? Will this stand as a ground for divorce and will he be punished for cheating?

Yes it can be taken and proper remedy in law available ,there by section 420/467..etc is entitled bit all has to be seen how the documents reveal about and how cogent it can stand as per the procedures of court ,Kindly meet /consult our office with documents for better help legally.

You can initiate both civil and criminal proceedings. Civil would be divorce before the family court. (1) If you have not completed one year of marriage, you can file a case for Nullity of Marriage on the ground of false information provided. (2) If you have completed one year of marriage, you can file for Divorce on ground of mental cruelty. You can file a case for Cheating under the Indian Penal Code and pursue criminal proceedings.
