Husband is abusive in nature how can i file for divorce

M married for 4 years and have a 21/2 old kid.therw is not one ounce of compatibility left bw me n my husband,who constantly uses abusive language for me as well as my family ? It is becoming very hard o tolerate his nonsense every passing day.he also raise question on my character to raise fights.wat is the best way to deal with this? he constantly threatens me to vacate his house?
