you can always claim maintenance for yourself and for children. if you are earning good or equal to your husband then you cannot claim maintenance. however you can claim maintenance for the children. you can claim this without agreeing for divorce and can contest the case. maintenance application takes some time to be decided finally however you can ask for interim maintenance which is decided at the earliest.

Hi. You can definitely claim maintenance from your husband, both for yourself and your children. For this this you have to petition the court in the proper jurisdiction for grant of maintenance. There are certain other aspects as well which have to be discussed before the petition is filed.
