Husband giving divorce but wife is not ready please advise

Sir..My sister in law get married on 14 may 2016 after 4 month of marriage he started torcher her. It's her second marriage and she has 7 years old girl child. After four month of marriage her husband sent us divorce notice. At the time of marriage he said propeery is of his names now he is saying property is registered with her sister name. Plz suggest what we do..My sister in law doesn't want to give him divorce

It all depends upon ur sis in law , if she want there may b on mutual consent if she doesn't want then no problem , reply of notice will b given. Here if only divorce concern then everything is in favor of ur sis in law but honestly saying , should work on continuation. U r welcome to discuss on legal as well as social point of view.

I understand that you don't want the divorce. But incase they file the divorce petition against your sister in law then you will have to fight for it. Your sister can contest divorce incase he doesn't want to give divorce. On what grounds is he asking for divorce? it would be cruelty so that can be proved otherwise i.e that there is no cruelty by your sister on law on her husband. The divorce petition can be dismissed by the district court incase the evidence is not in support. You can contact me for further details.
