Husband dominating on my income
11-Apr-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I got married 4 months back. My parents gave me to their home because of my husband education. My husband always wants to dominate me in each and every issue. My salary and all is in his control.. Since my marriage my husband started blaming my parents for each and every issue in front of me. he dropped me at mom's place saying that it daughter is not behaving like a wife tell her how to behave and went away. My dad health is spoiled because of these issues. What should I do? After marriage what right do girls have? I want to know what right do husband have on girls?
You can file a Criminal case U/s 498 (A) of the IPC.
You can file a case under Domestic Violence Act.
He cannot claim right on your income, but definitely you have a right on his income.
