Dear sir.

It's not possible to get a mutual consent divorce within 6 months of marriage. If the wife is not ready for divorce then it is out of question to get mutual consent divorce. The only way is to file a contested divorce which will take time.

The normal period is one month but if u can show the reason for taking divorce that the marriage itself is a nullity then on the exceptional ground , it is possible. However, u have not mentioned the reason. It is difficult to advice merely because both of u wish to get it within six months. Secondly threatening etc. is just to scare u and nothing will happen. U may file police complaint if u have genuine fear.
