How to tackle false complaint to police

MY WIFE FILE A FALSE CASE IN PS AGAINST ME .. I GOT A CALL FROM PS AND I TRYING TO KNOW WHAT CASE SHE WAS PUT AGAINST ME BUT POLICE PERSON DIDN'T GIVE ANY EXPLANATION JUST ASK TO COME AND MEET IN PS. ALSO IT IS SUNDAY. PLEASE SUGGEST SHALL I ATTEND THE PS. ALSO POLICE PERSON IS RELATIVE TO MY WIFE.
You did not mention from which police station you go call. You will be knowing the grounds on which she filed the case, as there must be some incidents before she files complaint. If you attend ps itay be risky.

If any body was called by police he must attend. We must give respect to Law and Order. Otherwise they will search for you and get your presence forcibly. You need not worry. They will explain what case she filed against you. You will be given ample opportunity to you to project your defense. If any F.I.R. is filed and you were arrested and produce before magistrate, you may come out of judicial custody by filing bail petition. Take Expert legal advise.
