How to get back gifts received by me from my in laws

Some of my Jewels & silver articles & my furnitures have been withhold with my husband and In laws. During our son function on 7th month they have gifted some jewels like ring,chain&bracelet. I am ready to return their jewel gift to them. Inorder to give my jewel and other things back, they are asking me to sign some papers which i am not interested,I need my jewel for my future investment, as my expenses and my son expenses is handled by me, not a penny from them.Kindly give some suggestion in order to get my belongings back from them without giving divorce or signing.living with parents now

The gifts and jewelry received by you at the time of marriage and belongs to you and can always be claimed back from your in laws and husband. You will have to file a complaint in this regard with the local police station giving the complete details of the incident and the list of jewelry that you are claiming.
