Hi
You can appear before court through your parents or any relative.
You don't need to be present before the court of you have sufficient reason to do so.
The time required in contesting divorce proceedings is indefinite.

It is absolutely possible to take the divorce if you are not available in India due to your work.

You can surely go back to your work when the divorce case is going on.

The grounds for taking divorce depends on the facts of your case which can be discussed when you share more details.

Yes definitely you can file for divorce and still you can continue with your job. It is not necessary for you to be present on each and every date of the court proceedings. I suggest you to file for divorce and try to solve your matter by counseling in court and if not solved in counselling then also you can get divorce on merit if you have . If your husband get ready for mutual divorce then well and good and if not then also you don't have to worry and to continue with your matter in Court.

You can file divorce case on the ground of desertion or Cruelty, exact time can't say but near about 1 year it would take for decree of divorce. If both husband and wife are ready for divorce then it takes 6 months for divorce.... You are required at the time of filing of the petition thereafter I will handle your case.
For any further help you can call me...
