25-Jul-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I've decided to end my 10yr marriage on grounds of his infidelity. What claim do I have in his property that his parents have under their names or what amount can I claim from him? I'm a Hindu.

You don't have any claim in the property of the husband but when you file for divorce you can claim permanent alimony from the husband and court will decide the amount of alimony based on his income, properties.

If you have not already served him notice or filed a divorce petition, you can claim maintenance commensurate with your husband`s income and property. You have not stated about your children. They have rights over his ancestral property too.

Hello madam do you have children? Please check Whether The properties having by your husband parents belongs to ancestors properties or self acquired properties? If ancestors properties means you can claim by way of partition suit. Tq
