How to apply for divorce if wife is blackmailing for suicide

My Friend wants divorce from his wife from the day he got married but they are not ready to give.he asked them for 3 times but they was pressuring him like will give dowry complaint on you like that, seeing all these he committed suicide and he is out of danger he is alive now. He still wants divorce from her. will he get divorce from her?? Still is there any changes that girl can give complain against my friend after all this suicide attempts?? Please reply

It is advisable that your friend seeks legal counsel immediately to discuss in detail . Divorce cannot be filed till completion of one year of marriage .If he is being thretened by his wife with filing flase complain of dowry harassment he should report it to the nearest police station to put it on record. He should file for divorce in the appropriate court of law rather then opting for this foolish ways. every problem has a legal solution and he can get the same from the court by proper manner. also if the wife is threatening him he should take action and approach the police station.
