Harassment by husband and inlwas what are my rights

Child custody case is ongoing since 2014 in India. I was not allowed to enter my matrimonial home by maniac husband and abusive Inlaws. They wanted to handover my 4yr son and conspired me to get killed by goons. I knew about their conspiracy and just ran to my friend's place and stayed there for shelter. My parents are supportive but I cannot stay with them. I went abroad before hand and found a job with the help of my friends . Husband through sources came to know my existence and filed for injunction and custody. What is the step I can take to put a stay as my lawyer is handling custody case in India. I cannot afford a lawyer here as its way expensive . Also my earnings are exhausted with our livelihood.Husband doesn't want to divorce neither wants me , wants the child and he is a businessman with lots of money power and bribes police to get things done his way. My livelihood is affected and I am not resourceful.
It is not clear as to where do you reside. You have a lot d options available to you under law. You, accompanied by your lawyer need to sit across the table with your husband and notify him about consequences of his illegal acts. If he does not abstain, he ought to be informed that action will be taken under him as per law. Please share details as to where you are residing now, how many years of marriage, age and Sec of your child. Etc

Ma'am as per law the custody will remain with the mother only special when the child is a baby girl and further you can claim maintenance for the child and as far as the custody is concerned the courts at max can grant visiting rights in favor of your husband. You have not made clear from when you are living separate and how old is your son. I would advice you to be offensive and file divorce case stating how he tried to kill you and your son. Generally custody of child upto 5 years of age is given to mother. The court see the best interest and welfare of child

Hello, it's totally your discretion to return back to your in laws home or not. You will get custody of your minor child definitely as per law in India. You can also complain against in-laws to police or before court. You have rights of maintaininence from your husband. Take care
