Father cheating on mom for several years, how to get divorce

My dad is cheating on my mom from several years, he is 63 years old. my mother wants to take divorce from him, is there any legal route to it. We have a small flat in jamshedpur which is in my mom's name where my dad currently stays. Also, i have a brother who is 28 years old working.Will there be any legal obligation on him to take care and well being of my father post divorce, since my dad is a senior citizen.

If both of them agree, then a mutual consent divorce can be taken and it can be processed in 6 months. Also there wont be any legal obligation to take care of your father but however, if he wishes to take care of him then nothing like that.

There is no particular age restriction as to file for the divorce after the marriage. However, your mother needs to establish particular grounds for obtaining the divorce.

Yes, your mom can take divorce from your dad for cheating on him, but since your dad is staying in the house which is in your mothers`s name, he can drag on the case for years. I can tel you how to solve this issue.
