Ex party decision dont want to give maintenance what to do

The judge declared me ex parte and awarded rs20,000/month to my wife.I submitted a petition to set aside the order with adequate evidence to the family court judge.the is saying she will accept it only if I meet her with excuse for my absence.How should I handle it?

You can file an appeal with the High Court against the orders of the Family Court, You shall have to give sufficient grounds that why this maintenance is high and why it should be reduced. why this order passed by the Family Court should be changed. You will have to explain and if the High Court feels that after going through the orders change it or may not change it as well.
