Effect if I proceed with divorce as the 125 maintenance case is in HC

Dear Sir, I just want to know is there any adverse effect if I proceed with divorce as the 125 maintenance case is moved to high court ? 125 case lasted in lower court for almost 3 three years where the interim order is to pay rs 10000-/- rupees monthly alimony which i am paying alimony more then three years now the 125 maintenance case is moved to high court. I just want to know if I proceed with divorce case (as i do not want to continue life with her any more) will there be any adverse effect with respect to my divorce petition or my case will become weak ? T
For divorce you have to prove case against your wife on some points like cruelty, her mental disorder, or unathical pressure on you. . . . . .
