Domestic abuse by husband and in laws what action can i take

I got married in 1989. since then onwards I am badly treated by husband,beaten abused and treated like a slave by him and his four elder sisters who always interferes. I am not allowed to go to my parental house nor my parents and siblings are allowed to come. I am never given any financial help or medical aid except only when utterly things go out of control. I have lost all self confidence and live in fear of him that if I dont listen to him he will cause harm to me and my family. My 25 year old educated daughter and 17year old son are also in great fear of him and v are all three depressed. We are scared to lodge a complaint against him. what should i do..Badly shattered.
Out of my own experience with lots of such type cases, I can understand your situation which has entailed a lot onto you, but certainly this is not the end and you need to have some courage against this atrocity to take action against the people involved. Since you have already shown courage to speak about it, have some more courage to come out of this house alongwith your children to some safe place like your parents or friends, and file a formal complaint with the women cell of concerned area and lot of other options you are having to initiate appropriate proceedings against the culprit(s) depending upon exact facts of your case. Hope for your best future
