Does the wife has right to claim share in in-laws' inheritance? We are hindus.
1) daughter in law has no right in the self acquired and inherited property of her in laws
2. She needs the permission of her in-laws to even live in the property owned by them.
3) she only has right to stay in matrimonial home of her husband under Dv act

No. Property self acquired by in-laws can't be inherited by their son's wife .she may claim right of residence alongwith her husband but not ownership. In case there is no Will of owner in laws then son inherits but not son's wife.
