Divorce from Nepali girl when marriage took place in Nepal

I am a indian hindu citizen married to a nepali hindu girl . The marriage took place in nepal as per vedic custom. The marrige was not registered in india. We stayed together for 1 and half year, but girl returned back to nepal around 9 month back and not ready to come back. I am looking for a divorce.What legal action can be taken?
Send her a legal notice asking for mutual consent divorce. If she agrees then you both can file . If she disagrees then you have to fight a contested divorce. It would have been easier if you had got the marriage registered. I hope you have the necessary proofs like wedding card and marriage photo.
