Divorce finalized in US. 498A pending in India filed by girl's father.

My son got married in June 2012. The girl belongs to panipat. They went USA after 10 days of marriage and never visited india after marriage. They lived separately from 8 Nov. 2014 in USA. The girl had filed divorce case in January 2015 in USA. The girl father had filed 498 A case in India against boy and his parents. We got the bail from lower court. The chargesheet has been filed and the charges has been framed. In USA divorce has been finalized but the girl is not ready to write about India case in the divorce case. We have already file in the high court chandigarh for quashing. Pl suggest
We suggest that your son , should not agree to the divorce filed in US and you should file a divorce in India .
Further your son should object the divorce in US on the ground that court in US has no juridiction to enterain their petition in US as their marriage is registered as per Hindu Marriage Act
