Did marriage through church not registered how to apply divorce

07-Dec-2023 (In Divorce Law)
The supreme court ruled that church annulments are not valid. Is this applicable to Goa where the Portuguese civil law is in force. So if one has only had a church marriage which the church then registers civilly, how can one apply for a civil divorce. There has only been a church marriage for the purpose of my question.

If you have a marriage certificate issued by church then you can go for divorce through indian divorce act. This is the only option when marriage is solemnised in church. As Christian law, once marriage solemnised it is for life time hence there is no option for divorce. For implementation you can contact me

you need to file for divorce in senior division in Goa for divorce though your marriage is not registered.. annulment is not valid.. so file it before the civil court.. and get a decree to that effect.

Hi there is no Portuguese ruling our (India) so only Indiana law is applied in which ever state you leave. About the divorce church has no jurisdiction to give divorce you have to file in court as per Christian law.
