Hi
If you can get the copy of the medical report, it will be helpful in you getting the false complaint quashed in high court.
Defamation proceedings against your wife can be initiated based on evidences that you have .
Also if the police are not giving you the copies of documents, you can collect the same from courts by applying for the same.

Hi,
If you want to file defamation first you have to win the case by getting acquitted and prove that it is a false case against you then you can be able to file a case against your wife and in-laws . All depends on the case you have to contest and then file a new defamation suit against your wife.

Under what section of offences did your wife & in laws filed against you? I guess it might be under section 498A of IPC. You have to first defend your case filed against you by your wife before Police and if charges are framed against you by the Court after charge sheet is filed by the Police in the Court and the matter goes to trial. If you come out clean ,that is, if you are acquitted then you can file a suit for damages against your wife and in laws for malicious prosecution. If really an FIR is registered against you then you can get the certified copy of the same from the Court. If the allegations are improbable and baseless and if no case is made out you can also go for quash if FIR before High Court. Suppose if FIR is quashed then you can file suit for damages for malicious prosecution then also. Regarding allegations of impotency you can file a civil suit for damages for defaming you. You can also file criminal case for damaging your reputation and for causing you an injury of mental sufferance and for demeaning you in the eyes of public , that is, before your friends, relatives and Neighbors etc.
