Can relationship prior to marriage be an evidence for divorce

18-Jan-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I was in relationship with a guy before marriage. I got married in 2015. I explained that to my husband after engagement, that i was in love with a guy. I didnt say anything about my relationship. but due to in-laws problem and dowry. i'm applying for mutual consent. I dont have a kid. now the guy who was in contact with me was in contact with my husband. I'm worried will he share everything to my husband. will it act as a major evidence for applying mutual consent from his side. will it possible that he can able to reveal it infront of all. Please guide me. what will happen in mutual consent.

Gentrally, if the husband and wife filed the petition for divorce on the ground of mutual consent to divorce, the court will hear the same after 6 months. On the hearing date if both the husband and wife insist the court to grand the divorce or submit before the court that there is no possibility to reunion then the court will grand the divorce on the same day itself. In your case is concern you have already filed mutual consent petition. So you need not to worry about that and nothing will harm you. In the mutual consent petition normally there will not be any allegation against each other. Intervention of 3rd party is concern that will not affect the mutual divorce proceedings. If you and your husband is ready for divorce on mutual consent the court will not ask for any reasons for yourvdivorce. By simply mentioning you both have problems and could not live together is enough to get mutual.consent. if you are negotiating any settlement from your husband it may affect your prospect of settlement. But in the court it is irrelevant as both you want divorce and the court will not look for any reason.
