25-Jul-2023 (In Divorce Law)

My query is that can I request our judge to give shorter dates ? My advocate is not responding properly to my issues. So in d court can I request for shorter dates or are there any rules for that ? And what is the minimum time required for each and every court date ? Please explain me clearly. Thank you so much

[1]. If your advocate is not responding property the case, take NoC from him/her engage any other Advocate to you desires.

[2]. Mediation will work out if the both the parties are flexible in aim to settle the dispute no by rigid.

[3] There is nothing measured for the adjourning the date by Court, all are subject to the Cases pending in in each courts.

There is not rule for the time period between two court dates. There is no minimum or maximum time period between two court dates. You can request the Court to give shorter dates, especially if you filed your case several years ago. Since Mediation failed, what is the present status of the case? If Evidence has been completed, Cross-Examination and Arguments do not take more than a few months. I advise you to tell your Advocate to move for early dates, or you can make a submission in Court yourself. In Family Court, the Court can allow a party can make a submission directly. If your husband is using tactics to delay the trial, for eg. by being absent on multiple occasions, you can request the Court to forfeit his rights to conduct Evidence, Cross-Examination and submit Arguments.
