Annulment of marriage. How to proceed ?

It depends on the court proceeding and other side convenience. In case if the other side willing to complete the matter immediately along with you, then within 6 month you cant end up with the divorce case. If it was dragon for some other reason it may take more then 2 years.

The adjournments and giving dates are the discretionary power of the court. So it also depends on the same.

It depends on the facts and circumstances and at least a period of one year is required to complete the whole process, if it's a exparte then it will take lesser time, so file it and take appropriate steps without adjournments till will be over fast.

The time limit for marriage annulment in Karnataka compared to Maharashtra is little less since because of Additional Courts. Further the time also depends on the parties to the petition as both of them has to appear before the court if the trial should be effective.

If it is a mutual consent divorce then the minimum time required is six months from the day of filing the petition
If it is a contested divorce, then the time varies depending on the situation, evidence available etc
