The question asked incomplete, what is the age of the Daughter.
Secondly what are terms and conditions of settlement arrived at between you and your Husband.
Thirdly, Divorce is between wife and Husband , the Children rights are secure.

I would assume that you are a Hindu female and you wish to/are in the process of obtaining a divorce from your husband. Your question in is whether your daughter have any rights in the father's (your ex-husband's) and her grandfather's property. Firstly, a testator (the ex-husband or the grandparent, as the case may be) may write a will leaving nothing for the daughter/grand-daughter and there would be no rights in any heritable property, subject to probate of the will by the court. However, if there is no will, your daughter should get a share in the property in division with other beneficiaries under the will. I would have to understand the religion and the family tree to better understand the case. Also, the law in this field may be revised so this situation could change.
