About divorce and dowry not being returned in divorce

Hi sir my sister got marriage my cousin is sadist he was torched my sister so for some reson their want to divorce but my cusin is not giving what we gave in marriage so now what i have do for getting our money which we gava and we r asking for 20 laksh etc. for as a settlement as elders meeting.
File a suit for divorce on the grounds of cruelty done by the husband.
After divorce the husband is bound to return the dowry articles
