Will my brother be charged for something done by his friend online

One of girl's father has complained against my brother's friend for online texting love messages. He is now not found in his place , so my brother (17yrs) is being called for police station from last 3 days continuously as police found that a group pic has been sent to that girl by my brother's friend in which my brother was also present. Will my brother get into a trouble. What actions will be taken against my brother, if he has to face different situations .
