What can I do if a fake ID for FB is created with my fathers name

Hi , My father got a call from the cyber cell bhiwani and he told my father that a Facebook ID WITH HIS MOBILE number is operating with named VIDHU and it's a girl id. But my father's mobile no is in a mobile phone which dont support internet. As per cyber cell officer the fake ID has created in september and on September my father was on Varanasi so it seems to me that someone used his no for this fake Facebook account. I had word with cyber cell officer he is asking to come bhiwani and we are living in Yamuna nagar which is far away from bhiwani . I have asked the cyber cell officer that they ca n have the IP ADDRESS AND mobile location from where Facebook ID is using but they are still insisting and mentally harassing us. Please advise

The Police procedure is important specially the facebook account has been used to do a crime. It is important for your to respond back to the cyber cell and figure out the issues of the facebook id.
The location and mobile number would be disclosed by the police incharge at the station where the case is being handled.

In the event any mobile number is linked to facebook id, facebook verifies the same through OTP, and in the event your father's mobile number is linked to anyone's facebook id, that means the creator of the said Facebook id had physical access to your father's mobile phone. THe phone need not be a smartphone, but access to sms is sufficient. Now looking at the case in hand, you must join investigations in Bhiwani, and meet the concerned police officials, and co-operate with them. Let them seek help from facebook to identify when the said facebook id was created and when your father's number got connected with the said facebook id and under what circumstances. In the event you do not co-operate with the police they may arrest you, and in the event you join investigations and still police harrasses you, then you must meet area SP & DIG.
