There was a fight in our college .senior students beat us.later that there was discussion on who started the fight ,I send the photo of that boy and humorously told that we will finish him.now they have screenshot of this chat.will I be punished if they lodge a complaint and what are the possibilities
yes - you can be prosecuted in this case. your case needs to be reviewed for specific legal action. But any violence is legally wrong and the person can be arrested and taken to the magistrate for custody and/or remand.
