Seeking help regarding legal notice from UK

24-Apr-2023 (In Cyber Crime Law)
I was surfing jobs on net and came across freelancer.com and so was offered a hair cutting job. To which I readily agreed by just giving a brief idea to my parents. The person deposited 5k inr in my a/c and I had the haircut on the same day. I was asked to send before and after pics and video but did not sent after video since my parents scolded me the same day. The person asked for refund to which I refused. This incident happened on 21st March 2017. Later on 22nd April 2017 I started receiving blackmailing emails from my employer. He gave me 3 options to pay 1lakh inr or to have a haircut or litigation. Since the first two options were not considerable by me a joint decision by parents and myself my ex employer filed a legal notice to mumbai embassy stating I can't fly abroad till matter is resolved. Please advice.

While accepting this offer of haircut, if the terms and conditions are to record a video of after and before haircut than fulfill the condition. When you avail the service and terms and condition and later based on your parents advice you deny to do it, is not good on your part. They have every right to take action if you have violated the contract. Either fullfil it by given options and respond to the legal notice via lawyer with valid reasons know best to you.
