My wife hacked my account can I complain against him?

My in-laws and wife hacked my gmail account Message: My wife hacked my gmail and read my sister's mail to me. She used that information to file a case against me and my sister. Can I file a case against her? What punishment would she get? Also, in vengeance, I tried to guess her password and log in to her account. But I failed to do so. Can she file a case against me for that ?
Is she aware that you tried to logging in her account?

Your wife and in-laws have committed unauthorised access and used that information, which is proof of the offence committed by them. You can file a case of unauthorised access against them fr compensation of upto Rs. 1 crore as Section 43 of the Information Technology Act provides compensation upto Rs. 1 Crore. She cannot file a case against you as you did not succeed in committing unauthorised access.
