Definitely it's violations of our fundamental right and encroachment in our privacy ,it's an offence you couldn't defy law and establish your own rules and regulations.
You could ask your pG owner that it's a violations of our fundamental right and illegal ,moreover criminal amendments of 2013 had make law more stringent regarding this .If you need more help you are free to contact.

This is a clear case of privacy violation. IT Act prevents violation of physical privacy u/s 66E and Constitution of India also respects your right to privacy. First of all, you should approach your nearest police station and file a compliant against him. If police don't take any action, remedies provided under laws can be availed.
