I was not paid after my work

Hello, I am a writer and recently one of my client after taking my work is not paying me. However, he has started using my work on his website. I want to know wheather I can take some legal actions against him.
Yes definently legal action could be initiated against him !Both under information technology act of 2000 ,copy right and under indian penal code .

Sir, you can take stringent against him subject to conditions that you have some proof to that effect. For this, you may institute a civil suit before the civil court having competent jurisdiction, territorial and monetary.
