friend Getting fake call in Mobile saying she is a sex worker

Hi, One of my friend (lady) is getting fake calls in her mobile. The callers are confirming that there exists some profile in Social Media mentioning her as a Sex Worker and her Mobile Number. This is creating tremendous harassment. We want this to report to Police. But first we want to collect evidences of all these. Please advise what should be done from us.
We suggest that you should immediately contact the police and lodge a complainant againt the number and state these necessary facts in your complaint.
