Defamation on facebook. What are the option take legal action

My boyfriend has relation with a girl who was married and has 2 kids and seperated. They broke up as he can't married the girl who has already married once and has kid. After they broke up this girl has edited my boy friend pic as " married " without his authorization and posted on her facebok wall. he even warn her not to do so but she never listen. Now being frustrated and angry with what she has done. I also created a facebook account with her name and pic stating her profile as married has 2 kids and separated which is true. after 3 days this accout has been deactivated.Now this girl want to go to court stating that she was defame by me and my boyfriend. I also make a mistake by creating a face book account on her name. And her mistake that she edited my boyfriend pic as married and posted on Facebook. we all 3 are wrong in fact. but how am i suppose to go to court and fight with these scenario with the legal court procedure and what could be the consequences ? please suggest.
