Corporate database breach what are the consequences

26-Nov-2023 (In Cyber Crime Law)
A friend of mine was involved in altering his company's database records and exploiting the system to earn gift vouchers of around Rs. 20,000 over the past two months. His act was discovered and he was taken to the nearest Police Station where he was made to confess his guilt. He was then made to sign a cheque of Rs.10,00,000/- in order to leave the police station while threatening his parents of dire consequences in case he doesn't. Is this fair and legal ?

Drawing cheques for an amount without maintaining sufficient balance in the account is wrong. drawing of cheque has been done under coercion and hence please seek the help of a advocate to resolve the issue.

Dear Sir,
This is absolute unfair and illegal by the police. It proves that police favoured one party by going against your friend. You can complain about this to commissioner. If still no action, your can file private complaint in court against officer and demand reversal of his actions. you need to act quickly on this.
Thanks,
Adv. Niranjan.
