Accused for fraud by friend through website made by me what can I do

I am a web developer and one of my client (who happens to be my friend also), misused the website as a fake job portal and secured the bank account details of one person, who filed a case. When caught, he told the police that the website was made by me and I was also booked under Cyber crime and fraud case. I got bail within 4 and a half months. Police seized my mobile phone and deposited in the court. I want to know what can be done and what is the time frame to come out clean, as I have to appear for government exams.
File a police complaint under Section 43, 66 and 66D of Information Technology Act, 2000 and Section 415, 417 and 420 of Indian Penal Code, 1860. Mention what actually happened and how your client-cum-friend cheated you by misusing your website as fake job portal and impersonating you so that when caught, the responsibility falls on you. There is no time frame to come out clean. But filing complaint will build pressure on the real culprit. Court procedures are long and slow. I am afraid I can't help you regarding appearance in Government exams. If you have been barred from appearing in Government exam, then contact education department of the State stating the problem you are facing.
