Onnthe preliminary facts you cannot join government jobs without putting across the facts of your criminal matter settled. In your case consult and get the FIR quashed or atleast a protection from HC. If you get some favourable order in which the HC states that 'without prejudice to the selection in government job'can help you fetch the job.

You can go for quashing by invoking the inherent power of the high court under section 482 , in the form of a writ under article 226 of the Constitution as it will help u in getting speedy remedy for the quashing of FIR . You can place the relevant documents which absolve u from the culpability. Actually the nature of the crime u allegedly committed determines your prospects of getting a government job. If the FIR is of serious nature than the concerned department might prevent u from joining but do mention this particular problem in the affidavit as it might save u from further problems and the department may consider depending on the nature of job.

Sir, as per recent judgement ...If allegations are not serious in Nature like murder or rape against you then you can join your government job otherwise not.you have to check your offence/allegations

Hi,

While filing the forms for some govt jobs, you need to clarify regarding pending criminal case and conviction etc. You must fill those columns correctly and go ahead. Mere pending criminal case don't dis-entitle you from getting a govt job. From your query it is not possible to know the complete facts of the case and in this situation it is difficult to clarify and advise you correctly. You are suggested to provide the complete facts.
Thanks and regards
