Yes she can file as many case as possible. Your remedy is to file a complaint before police. Get it properly drafted by advocate. Also file a case for restitution of conjugal right before family court. Consult a lawyer dealing in family laws or you can consult online through mail.

She can do what she may want, what u need to do is register FIR for theft against wife. Before she files 498 u file section 9 of hindu marriage act, to strengthen ur bail in 498. .

If your wife is going for Fir under section 498 a then you should go for arrest stay to high court but if your wife is threatening you to file case in the court you may file case of divorce against her but first of all you should give an application to your police station and ssp that your wife may be fabricated in false case so you want protection

आप ज्वेलरी को लेकर पत्नी पर चोरी का आरोप नहीं लगा सकते , क्योंकि यह स्त्रीधन के तहत आती है ,और इस पर उसका पूर्ण अधिकार है।
रही बात 498 ए की , तो उसको लेकर इतना अधिक चिंतित होने की आवश्यकता नहीं है...अब पुलिस आपको सीधे गिरफ्तार नहीं कर सकती ।

If u r anticipating case U/s. 498A, then seek anticipating bail and if it's UP, then seek stay of arrest. On the safer side, u can also send a legal notice to the in laws stating that entire jewellery has been taken by her and also threatening to file a frivolous complaint. Thanks
