What happens when criminal case is heard as dormant

what will happen if a court observes a criminal case as dormant case and it is extending by not giving any judgement, what is the next step going to taken by the court because police did not filed charge sheet since one year for dismissing the case what the respondent have to do.
you should get your lawyer file an application in the court where case is pending and pray for moving the case ahead as it has remained unheard for period one year. The court will surely pay attention and direct appropriate course of cation.
