What does NBW in the current CC case implies .
15-Jul-2023 (In Criminal Law)
Hi, When I looked up the on the status of my case on www.ecourts.gov.in , I was presented with two cases for the same FIR number. One was Cr (criminal case) case which had been filed in 2013 end and then another case popped up recently which is of CC(criminal cases) type. I want to know what does the two case types entails and what are the implications. On the cr case it says case disposed via CIS and on the new cc case its says case stage as NBW. I was granted bail after been in JC for about a fortnight. What this NBW in the current CC case implies . Much appreciation if any one can explain.
This is a repeated question. Detailed answer has already been posted. You are advised to attend the court during next hearing pleading reason for your answer for absence in the past. The court may or may not impose penalty on you for your absence.
Your case is a case which seem as described by you legally invalid and a good case of quashing ,but your question or query is not much specific or clear what you exactly mean but still consult with documents then only can be advised legally .OFC: Adv Pankaj Kumar.
At the time of fir stage its number in cri no, after conclusion of investigation police will file charge sheet and cr no covert t cc no and court will take cognizance and issue summons if you got earlier bail in nonbailabe offence or else will issue straight away nbw. Maybe in your matter summons served hence court issued nbw may be police filed report summons served t you..
