What are the legal consequences of faking someone's signature

Hi team, I have detained in college from Intermediate regarding of my behaviour (caught by principal by forging his signature for hall ticket). Later i forged my brothers engineering certificates without his knowledge and working with those certificates in mnc company from last ten years. we two younger brothers shared all cash property without telling to my elder brother. my doubt is if my brother file a case against me is this serious? what I need to do now.
Your elder brother can file a complaint under section 420 of IPC of cheating and forging the signatures. Now you can apologize to your elder brother as you do not have any option left as you have already committed the offence or you can defend the proceedings with engaging a good advocate.
